West Deptford Officials Discuss Brush Truck, Mutual Aid, and Fire Department Staffing
Brush Truck Purchase: The Township will purchase a new brush truck to replace the outdated 1986 model. The purchase is being funded by a grant from l-Bank.
Water Meter Replacement Project: The Township is in the process of replacing all water meters with smart meters. This will allow for remote data collection and improve efficiency.
Cumberland Avenue Sanitary Sewer Pump Station: The pump station is being expanded to increase capacity and correct deficiencies. Construction is expected to be completed in July 2024.

Well No. 3 PFAS Treatment Plant: Construction of a new treatment facility is underway. The facility will be designed to treat the high levels of PFAS and iron in the raw water.
Well No. 5 PFAS Treatment Plant: Design of a treatment facility is underway. The facility will be designed to remove PFAS contaminants from Well No. 5.
Well No. 4 PFAS Treatment Plant: Design of a treatment facility is on hold due to the need to acquire property.
Hillside/River Road Water Main Extension: The project is on hold due to concerns from residents.
